Moving in

We want you to know what you can expect from us as your landlord and what we, in turn, can expect from you as a tenant. If you and your neighbors are familiar with and follow these house rules, it will create a pleasant living environment for everyone!

Be Considerate of Your Neighbors!

You are required to be considerate. Remember that in an apartment building, you have neighbors all around you.

Disturbances such as loud shouting, high music, and similar noise are unnecessary if everyone considers that nothing should be heard inside the neighboring apartments. This is especially important late in the evening.

If you are planning a larger gathering or party with many guests, it’s a good idea to notify your neighbors in advance.

As a tenant, you are responsible for everyone in your household – as well as any visitors to your apartment.

Pay Your Rent on Time!

You must pay your rent in advance each month, no later than the last day of the previous month. For example, the rent for April must be paid by the end of March. If rent is not paid on time, the matter will be handed over to our debt collection agency, Profina.

Take Good Care of Your Apartment!

You are responsible for maintaining your apartment by cleaning and keeping it tidy.
Here are a few simple tips:

  • Keep the stove and oven clean to prevent dirt and grease from burning onto the surfaces.
  • Defrost your refrigerator and freezer regularly. Let the ice melt naturally; do not use a knife or hard objects, as they can cause damage.
  • Use mild cleaning products for the toilet, sink, and bathtub.

Report Issues Immediately!

You are required to report any defects or damages that occur in your apartment. For example, regularly check that radiators are not leaking.

If a defect causes greater damage and you did not report it, you may be held financially responsible.

Rugs

Do not shake rugs out of windows or from the balcony. It is unpleasant for the residents below.

Stairwells and Entrances

Do not leave items in the stairwell or outside your door. Bicycles, strollers, skis, skates, and shoes must not block access for cleaning staff.

Larger and bulky items may obstruct emergency personnel in the event of an accident.

Dogs and Cats

Do not walk dogs just anywhere in the residential area. Use designated dog walking areas or dog toilets and always clean up after your dog. Keep an eye on your cat! Cats must not roam freely or use children’s sandboxes as litter boxes.

Do Not Feed the Birds!

Feeding birds may attract rats and mice.

Pests

If you find pests, such as flour beetles, in your apartment, contact us immediately to prevent the infestation from spreading.

Bicycles and Cars

Do not drive bicycles or cars into the residential walkways. These areas are for children to play safely.

Teach the Children

Everyone plays a part in creating a pleasant living environment. Teach children not to litter and encourage them to care for plants and flower beds in the area.

Laundry Room

The laundry room is perhaps the most important shared space in the entire building and a place where good neighborly relationships are often built. Make sure to follow the laundry room rules carefully! Always book your slot properly.

Take care of the machines when you do your laundry. Read and follow the instructions for the washing machines carefully to ensure the best washing results. Leave the laundry room on time so the next tenant can use it. Clean up after yourself.

Leave the laundry room and drying room in the same condition you’d like to find them when it’s your turn to do laundry!

Service

You have the right to have things that break and belong to the apartment repaired. Contact us immediately to prevent further damage! For minor issues, we may provide you with spare parts so you can fix the problem yourself.

Our service includes fault reporting and repairs. Additionally, our staff keeps the stairwells, courtyards, and other common areas clean and tidy.

Have You Submitted Your Change of Address?

If you live in an apartment, you must be registered at that address. Your apartment number is part of your address and consists of four digits indicating the floor and location on that floor.

You can find your apartment number in the building’s entrance, on your front door, your mailbox, or in your rental agreement.
